In 1935 new school №19 with separate education for boys and girls was opened in Zhdanov prospect.
      In 1956 it was given another number – 126, and in 1989 the school became a secondary one of general education with advanced level of English according to the decision of Gorky city deputies council. In December 1995 school was renamed into Municipal Educational Institution «Secondary school № 126 of general education with advanced level of English».
      School has a great history, big experience in teaching advanced English, famous for its traditions and school-leavers.
      Two Honored teachers of the Russian Federation, 14 teachers of high category, 32 teachers of the first category are working in our school.
      School cooperates with N. Novgorod Linguistic University and State University Higher School of Economics.
